Push Button Switch

Push button switch refers to a switch that uses a button to push the transmission mechanism to make the moving contact and the static contact press on or off and realize circuit switching.

In electrical automatic control circuits, push button switch is used to manually issue control signals to control contactors, relays, electromagnetic starters, etc.

There are many types of push button switches, which can be divided into ordinary button type, mushroom head type, latching type, momentary type, rotary handle type, with indicator light, lighted symbol type and key type, etc.

Some products can increase the number of contact pairs by connecting multiple components in series. There is also a self-contained button that automatically maintains the closed position after being pressed. The button switch can complete basic control such as start, stop, forward and reverse rotation, speed change and interlock.

Usually, each push button switch has two pairs of contacts. Each pair of contacts consists of a normally open contact and a normally closed contact. When the button is pressed, the two pairs of contacts act simultaneously, the normally closed contact is disconnected, and the normally open contact is closed.
