2 Position Toggle Switch
1. Be careful with chemicals
Since synthetic resin such as polycarbonate is used in the bottom plate of the medium toggle switch, it is necessary to avoid exposing the potentiometer to the strong atmosphere of chemical substances such as ammonia, amine, alkali solution, alkane, ketone, ester, halohydrocarbon, etc.
2. Use flux carefully
The use of water-soluble flux should be avoided when soldering, otherwise it will have adverse effects on the metal and other materials that constitute the medium toggle switch.
3. Solder
Wiring design and soldering method should avoid causing the molten tin to flow to the surface of PC board, which will cause poor contact.
4. Low temperature operation
When the product is used in low temperature environment, such as car radio or car stereo in cold belt, our company provides comfortable products according to customers’ requirements. Please explain when ordering.
5. Sliding handle length
The shorter the length is, the better (at least 5mm). Under the condition that the width a of the sliding handle is constant, the shorter the sliding handle length is, the better the hand feeling is; the higher the output point is, the worse the hand feeling is.
6. Drive arm
Do not keep the operating point away from the center line of the sliding handle. For the same reason, the shorter the distance b, the better.
